Coastal Banking Company 4th Quarter 2009 Earnings

Coastal Banking Company Inc. (OTCBB:CBCO), the holding company of CBC National Bank, which operates divisions including Lowcountry National Bank in Beaufort, S.C., and First National Bank of Nassau County in Fernandina Beach, Fla., reported a loss in earnings that was due, in part, to a substantial impairment to its goodwill.  MarshComm gave context to the one-time charge and balanced the release with positive news on the momentum the bank built in the closing months of 2009 to grow core operating income, reduce nonperforming assets and build a sizeable loan-loss reserve.

Coastal Banking Company 2nd Quarter 2007 Earnings
Coastal Banking Company Inc. (OTCBB:CBCO), of Beaufort, S.C., wanted to improve its communications with shareholders and potential investors. The company hired MarshComm to handle its IR communications, beginning with its 2Q 2007 earnings release. The quarterly results were down compared to the prior year, due to softening loan growth and a narrowing net interest margin.
